Research has shown that increased stress can lead to various ailments and unhealthy habits, so take the time to take care of yourself. Integrating therapy, yoga, and/or mindfulness can be a great way to get your life started on a healthier path.
Do you feel as though too much is happening and you don't have a safe place to go? Are you feeling emotionally overwhelmed? My focus is to provide you with the skills that will assist you in making healthier life choices. My specialization is teenagers and adults with emotional, social, or behavioral concerns. I am devoted to helping clients realize their potential and utilizing practical steps towards achieving their goals. This could be learning to focus on your own needs, asking for help, loving yourself, improving relationships, or any other area of personal growth. I am here to help you become who you want to be.
I have experience working in schools, child welfare, and residential settings; where I have developed an array of techniques to help you reach your goals. When it's possible, I like to integrate yoga and mindfulness into therapy sessions in order to help you grow mentally, physically and emotionally. My approach is to address you as a whole person.
My approach can include: CBT, MBCT, strength-based, motivational interviewing, trauma focused, and more depending on your goals. Every person's journey is different, and I welcome the opportunity to work with you on creating your path. I look forward to working with you.
